This is primarily a blog of ideas. When we have an idea, we like to explore it to the fullest extent that our capabilities allow, so there will be posts that won’t be for the faint of heart. We are not interested in pussy footing around the obvious to save some delicate sensibilities. As such, there will likely also be an evolution of ideas and thus the general topic may change over time.

CL: I am a Catholic convert and an introvert (INFJ). Politically I am probably closest to a Classical Liberal with libertarian leanings. Once upon a time I considered myself a libertarian atheist, but I found that unsatisfactory in that holding that position required too much twisting to make it fit and that it was ultimately a cowardly position to take. I had also inevitably absorbed and been duped by at least some of the post-feminist, liberal culture I grew up in, much to my own detriment and to the detriment of others. It’s taken me several recent years (and some lost friends, but also some gained friends) to get to where I am today, and it feels like coming to my senses, although it is still a process of conversion that reveals itself to me in stages.

I am the mother of two girls, ages 6 and 8. I have lived in England, France and the U.S. and am currently back in my homeland of Canada.

7man: I am also a Catholic convert and an introvert (INTJ). I am a divorced “geek” with two daughters 9 & 13. I am not allowed to see them much because of a BatShitCrazy ex-wife and the tyranny of the Family Court. I remember back to when I decided to convert to being Catholic and my then-wife was upset that I didn’t consult her on my decision, even though she is Catholic too. WTF, LOL I am a logical guy and I know that use of Logic by Men is [considered] Abuse.

If only someone had been able to explain it to me sooner or if I had not been attending a “Catholic Faith Community” for so many years. A “Catholic Church” or a “Catholic Parish” might not have been so pandering and confusing.
